We (my husband & myself) went on a Tour for a Timeshare, "The Welk Resort" near Pala in the Southern part of California. The 90 minute tour took up the entire day and for coming to listen to the Sales people of The Welk Resort, we were granted gifts for our time and you get to choose. Our gifts (the ones we chose) were a day cruise around d San Diego Bay and Disneyland with accommodations for a nights stay. So, when it came down to it, they did come thru!! I couldn't believe it really happened after going thru all that paperwork hassle!! We had a blast!!
I was gifted a " Holiday Travel of america vacation Voucher to Honolulu " for becoming a timeshare member of Welks Resort and this is what I have to say Holiday Travel of America its joke. One very unprofessional business. Do not waste your time with them. I paid the taxes fee in December 2014 so "they can book my vacation" and its been more than 2 yrs and they still can't manage to redeem my voucher. To top it off! Its so hard to speak to a customer service representative!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. As you can see in other reviews on BBB and other sites like RipoffReport, etc., they do this to myself and many other customers frequently. Pure SCAM.
you forget or you just give up!! This is SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I'm 51 years old and I did everything they asked for, drove an hour to the resort, spent money for a hotel and had a lousy dinner and spent our entire Sunday with Sales People at the Welk Resort and in the end we get nothing! This is what I would call fraudulent, I gave them my time and money, they made a promise and it has not come thru in a years time!! We would love to go, this is our only way right now
ALL Lies!!! I was promised a Catalina getaway and this company did NOT accommodate it! Within a whole year I was told "we cannot find a hotel"

I have to say they did come thru with the tickets and everything went well. The only thing different we changed, was we didn't stay at their hotel, we got our own, only because we didn't want to have to move twice in 3 days.
A telephone call today offering for $599 a very sexy package of travel including cruises and hotel rooms. Sounds pretty fishy. Any experience out there. Thanks.

a certain amount of time, say 30 days and with a deposit Than they send you more forms to fill out, within a certain time period again or you forfeit. In these forms you must pick 2 dates that you'd like to go on your trip, that's exactly what I did, to much expectations, I thought for sure we'd get one of our dates, I thought it through and we decided to pick April and May. We figured Easter would be over and all schools, even College would still be in class and no major holidays. To my despair, we were rejected, I was so bummed, but we got to pick 2 more days , we did and we were rejected once again and this happened 3 times and now it's almost a year next month and I haven't heard about these dates, well I know one is rejected, because that day is gone. We were hoping for a date in August, it's our 14 year Anniversary and we were going to treat ourselves to an extra day, but no response yet. This time I didn't send in the form, I did it over the phone twice, but the first time I did send it in, even tho the lady said you didn't have.to because she was putting it in the computer , I did it anyway, just to be on the safe side.This time I didn't send in the form, she said not to. I have not heard back from them, either by phone or letter, I'm very disappointed that in 1 years time, with 8 different day choices out of the year, that they could not get 2 people ( my husband and myself) into Disneyland. I even hand wrote a letter to them on the 3rd request, telling them that I'd never been to Disneyland and how Super excited I was. I did ask them about the expiration, which would be in a month and the young lady said, no, it will not expire because I fulfilled it with all the paperwork I've done. I wonder if they just take your deposit and they wait till

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I attended a presentation with an unrelated company and Holiday Travel of America was the company that was supposed to honor a vacation & travel package. They say they "never received any voucher" from me. I literally took a photo of the actual voucher before I sent it off. I forwarded them the image which they could easily verify with the company I received it from had they felt the need to. They just continue to lie and say they "never received anything" and can not honor it because they supposedly do not have the voucher in hand. This is complete BS. What the reality of the matter is, is that they do not want to honor anything they don't have to so they do not have to spend the money. They will find any excuse to not have to pay out for what they are supposed to do. I HAVE PICTURES and PROOF, and yet they still do not want to honor it.
you'll attend a seminar that seems nice at first but after being pressured and you don't buy, you'll recieve nothing!! I gave them 1 star because a minus 5 isn't available!!
