Great Bible study every week, great caring people who really reach out to newcomers (like me), great music and worship, great children's programs. This church has it all for anyone looking to learn more about Jesus, worship Him, learn and teach their children the REAL meaning of life through the Bible, and find genuine, loving and caring friends. So important in this crazy world we are living in now.
So if you're venturing to find a church whom's intent is to invest in you on a real, impactful level, this is for you. If you're just showing up to get a box checked and wear your Sunday best to parade around in so people notice you while getting some nebulous sense of moral satisfaction just by being physically present at a church building, I'm sure there are other places more suitable.
Awesome place to call home
It's about the love of Jesus and how he can compassionately and breath takingly change your life for the better. No other elder board, pastors, mentors, A/V department, child care center can come within a hair of FCC. I would give 10 stars if I could. Sound doctrine, sound theology, and not a flashy, pretentious person to be found. Come on in for a visit and get your life changed. :)

If you're fatigued ad nauseum with the mega church scene, this family of tight knit believers is for you. I've been a member for almost three years now and haven't regretted a single day of it. The disconnected, country club/jesus points/dressed to the nines/I came to get free child care and coffee nonsense that is so pervasive and cancerous with giant churches in San Diego isn't a factor at Faith Community in the slightest. Having once been a devil worshiper and heavily in the occult, finding a church that totally accepted me, personally counseled me, is currently providing and helping for my wedding via premarital counseling and young engaged fellowship group, there's nothing more to be said concerning whether FCC "walks the walk". Never have I felt more appreciated and intimately cared for by any other religious organization. Not even close.
