Great place to take the family. Yearly pass is more affordable than other theme parks. Staff is awesome! Reasonable wait time for rides (about 5-20 minutes). They are incorporating more Lego Friends to encourage little girls to be builders as well. Good job Legoland!
It's Legoland, so of course it's awesome! Parking was easy, though expensive, as all theme parks are. Rides we're fun for the kids, and even some of the adults, heh. But, our two year old could barely go on any, even some that seem like they would be fine while we hold her. She cried a lot, but that didn't make her tall enough either. :)
Family friendly park. Kids who are under 14 and serious Lego fans would enjoy it the most. Food is excellent for a theme park. There are options for everyone here including vegetarians. The all you can eat pasta and pizza place had good food with a terrific salad bar. The rides are not extreme at all compared to other parks but they are fun for little guys. The Legos on display are fantastic. The staff is very courteous. Very well maintained.
Legoland is a nice park for little kids; I imagine once they're over ~9 it won't really be doing the trick. Cool for little boys though. I'd recommend getting the fast pass if you can swing it ($55/per for everyone >3) since it makes getting on all the rides pretty painless.
Still, 4 stars for being fun and we'll go back in a week, since we got two days with the tickets we bought. Everyone should take your kids here at least once, just maybe wait until they're at least 3 years old. And probably before they turn 13...
Also, we spent all day there and still could not get through the lines fast enough to see half the park. Again, not unusual for most theme parks, which make Legoland not that unusual...
More oriented toward children ages 2-6. If your children are older they'll still have fun but won't be able to use half of the rides and attractions there or won't really enjoy them. We had fun overall but not enough to convince me to buy the yearly pass. They wanted to charge $59 per person to attend Halloween brick or treat event from 5p-9p on top of what i paid to get in. They also close early ( 5pm ) so they could do the brick or treat event. As someone who paid for passes , I felt cheated as had I come any other time outside of Halloween I would've been able to stay until 8p or 9p.
